Abstract：With the rapid development of economy and society, the man-land relationship in the coastal region is becoming more serious. Many problems relating to population, resources and environment are serious, too. The regional sustainable development has become the only choice for the certain area. To some degree, the land comprehensive carrying capacity just becomes the key to the sustainable development. This paper, on the base of the rethinking land carrying capacity, reconstructs the theory formation in new eyes, thereby we have designed the index system to value the land comprehensive carrying capacity.
